St. Jude's Players amateur dramatics group have been running the Englefield Green Social Hall on behalf of the local community since 1997. Apart from managing and maintaining all the facilities there, they continue to make cosmetic and structural improvements to the benefit of all users.
Individuals, local organisations and institutions are able to rent a variety of different rooms for various social functions - meetings, parties, exhibitions, shows. In addition, the Social Hall contains St. Jude's Theatre with an audience seating capacity of 168. Full stage lighting and sound equipment is available, together with dressing rooms.
